iPad iPhone can not connect to wireless network fix

can not connect to wireless network Telus router

The other day, we switched internet provider which means that each device (of which there are a lot of) had to be modified to "see" the new router.

While the computers and printer worked fine, the iPad and iPhone could not connect.

 Here is the fix:

  1. Go to "Settings"
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Reset"
  3. Tap "Reset Network Settings"

After that, you have to

enter your security password (if you've set one up AND YOU SHOULD HAVE) the device(s) will display the apple logo and a progress bar and once more you have to enter the four digit pass code.

Then open Safari and when prompted, select your routers SSID and enter the pass phrase.

This worked for both, my iPhone and my iPad.
